I had the honor of photographing Emery and Paul’s wedding festivities a few weeks ago in Abilene. I’d been looking forward to this wedding for a while because it was not only a wedding … but it was also a small reunion with some of my distant family members. Paul’s father and my father are first cousins. And although I’d met his parents a few times … I’d never actually met him or his siblings before. Jennifer and I had such a great time hanging out and getting to know everyone. It’s hard to believe we’d gone so long without ever knowing each other.
